Why Feature Icons?

Not all users behave the same on a website; some users will scroll down and find rich content, while others stay above the fold. Our research has consistently shown that when visitors engage with rich content, they are more likely to convert. Feature Icons provide another interaction touch point to engage those users who don't scroll down the page.

Overview 

Rich content is broken into sections:

  • Specifications
  • Documents

Feature Icons enable you to display each of these sections as an interactive icon that loads either as a lightbox or a hover. Feature Icons are mobile friendly and fully 508 compliant.

Customizations

Feature Icons are configurable to match your website or product page design. These customizations are self-serve in our Portal and can be made within seconds including;
  • Vertical or Horizontal display
  • Lightbox or Hover mode for displaying rich content
  • Support for multiple icon sizes
  • Support for multiple icon colors
 
Available Icons - By default all icons are selected, but if you wish, you can deselect one or more. For example, you may choose not to display the ‘Documents’ icon or any other by simply deselecting the Documents icon within our Portal settings.

Icon Layout - Enables you to display the Feature Icons either as a vertical or a horizontal row.

Icon Style - Enables you to choose from one of three predefined sizes. If these sizes do not fit your needs, additional sizes can also be supported.

 

Behavior - Enables you to define how the rich content is displayed - either as a lightbox or as an hover.
