St-Legier, 14 June 2004 - CNET Channel, a business unit of CNET Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNET) today announced that Computacenter, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, has extended the use of DataSource™, CNET Channel's catalogue maintenance service, to expand its e-commerce business across Europe.

The scope of the project was the 35,000 items currently in the Computacenter catalogue and e-commerce trade with around 500 customers using the e-catalogue service in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.

"We have already had excellent feedback from our customers concerning the quality and breadth of our web offering, and we are looking to increase the 35,000 SKUs currently on offer," said David Lee, e-Enablement Manager UK Operations at Computacenter. "We have seen a 25% increase in transaction volumes since implementation of our new web offering, and CNET Channel has been key to helping us achieve this growth rate."

CNET Channel's technology product information solution provides Computacenter's e-commerce websites with comprehensive product data, allowing faster and smoother decision-making process for its customers, which in turn generates more traffic. A particular focus is the need to rapidly include new products as they come to market.

Mr. Lee adds, "We looked at alternatives but couldn't find anything that matched the functionality, cost-effectiveness and service levels that CNET Channel offers. We need especially high service levels for new product information, because our customers are aware of new products and ask us to supply them."

Jean-Francois Guyomar, senior vice president of worldwide sales at CNET Channel, explains "Our data supply allows customers to constantly provide timely and structured product information along with highly valuable functionalities which is an extremely important approach in today's competitive e-commerce environment."

Mr. Guyomar adds, "We are gratified that this is another major endorsement in Europe of our DataSource solution, which shows that CNET Channel very actively contributes to expand technology customers' pan-European online offerings in an efficient and effective manner."
