We are pleased to announce the release of DataSource™ 4.3 on August 24, 2010. DataSource is the world's leading source of independent product information powering many of the world's largest e-commerce sites, portals, manufacturers, retailers and resellers. These improvements to this foundational service provide subscribers with a strong competitive edge and the ability to further enhance the customer experience on their site.
This release includes:
Product Prioritization: This new Product Prioritization functionality enables DataSource customers the ability to easily prioritize the products in their catalog through either via the Customer Extranet or catalog request files. CNET then uses this customer provided prioritization information to better provide timely processing and delivery of the most important products to customers. This powerful new functionality furthers our ongoing efforts to provide data production transparency, aligned tightly with customer and market expectations around timely delivery of core site content.
White Goods Category Expansion to Nordic Markets: DataSource now supports expanded catalog coverage for White Goods categories of products into the Nordic markets in Europe, making product information on home and kitchen appliances available in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The White Goods categories of products have been available in the UK, France, and German markets for several years. The latest expansion enables CNET Content Solutions to continue to be the content provider of choice providing our customers the ability to scale their business across categories and geographies as needed in support of their business goals.
