Lexmark Announces Exclusive Partnership with CNET Content Solutions

Lexmark has chosen CNET Content Solutions as its authorized and exclusive syndication provider for rich inline product content beginning April 8, 2020. This rich content will be displayed on Lexmark’s channel partner ecommerce sites in US, CA, UK, DE, FR, and AU markets.

Syndicated rich content is the packaged digital marketing assets for a product – including lifestyle imagery, product videos, reviews, 360-degree spin images, and more – that a brand uploads to CNET’s online content builder portal which is then distributed to those channel partners who have a javascript syndication code on their site to receive it.

Syndicated rich content:

  • Has been shown to increase customer interaction by up to 50%
  • Refreshes automatically when the brand builds new or updates existing content
  • Reduces the amount of internal or third-party overhead needed to maintain product content
  • Integrates easily within product pages with a simple snippet of code

In the coming weeks, Lexmark will also be releasing a Brand Showcase that channel partners will be able to add to their sites. A Brand Showcase works as a brand-sponsored microsite within the partner’s ecommerce site that calls out specific products, features, services, and more, all with functionality that ties into the partner’s catalog to make add-to-cart options easy for the end customer.
