New Features and Enhancements for CNET ContentCast Inline Content

Tue, 03/29/2016

San Francisco, March 30, 2016 – CNET ContentCast has recently released some new features in its Inline Content and Inline Content Builder. These features allow online retailers to provide an even greater enhanced rich content experience to their customers.

Comparison Tables

Inline Content by ContentCast now supports Comparison Tables. These tables enable you to compare relevant products side by side or help the buyer see the upsell models. The product models can be dynamically filtered and linked to the retailer's catalog to enable pricing and Buy Now links for higher conversion rates.

Inline Content Builder Enhancements

New Gallery Layouts: Manufacturers using the Inline Content Builder can now choose one of three media gallery layouts such as the ribbon display, standard gallery, and swipe-able carousel option. This new design enables shoppers to hover over gallery images and easily view their image of choice.

Gallery Zoom: Users can now zoom in on the higher resolution images using their mouse as they hover over an image. This gives shoppers a close-up and detailed view of products.

Autoplay Inline Videos: Inline videos will now autoplay as a user looks at the product page. Users can navigate down the page, and the player will pause. Once the user scrolls back up, the video player will resume where the video left off.

Updated & Responsive CNET Reviews Experience

CNET Editorial Reviews have been updated to reflect the latest CNET branding. This new design is both responsive and meets 508 compliance. These reviews are available for select manufacturer products.
